Table-top exercise

A simple and goal-orientated table-top exercise for crisis and emergency response management, departments and external participants to train, for example, interfaces, plans and routines. A table-top exercise has focus on one or several exercise factors and is led by 1-2 advisors with the use of a dynamic scenario portrayed in a PowerPoint presentation. The scenario is developed in advance in cooperation with the relevant business.

Simulation exervise

An extended table-top exercise with inputs and responses from/to the exercise staff. A simulation exercise is a mix between a table-top exercise and input-response exercise. In addition to an exercise arrangement as in a table-top-exercise, a small Exercise Control staff is used which provides inputs without the use of a Main Input List. The exercise is more realistic than a table-top exercise without it being particularly more resource-demanding to plan and carry out. The aim of the exercise is to train one or several parts of the organization in one or more areas to map out weaknesses and deficiencies.

Input-Response Exercise

An input-response exercise is an exercise based on a scenario and incidents prepared in a Main Input List without any active play. Inputs and responses are from/to the Exercise Control Staff with internal and external functions. The aim of this type of exercise is to train one or several parts of the organization and cooperate with external functions.

Full-scale Exercise

A full-scale exercise is based on the scenario and incidents prepared in the Main Input list together with active play and use of real resources with internal and external functions. The aim is to train the entire organization in the handling and cooperation of a real incident.
